In northern California:
- Berryvale
Grocery and Cafe
305 S. Mt. Shasta Blvd., Mount
Shasta, Ca. 96067
Ph. (530) 926-1576
- Stateline
Store
Hilt, Calif. 96044
Ph. (530) 475-3483
At the northern-most tip of the state of California along Interstate-5,
and just south of the Colestin valley in Oregon. While the town
of Hilt has become mostly defunct since the 1970's, the Stateline
Store & Texaco service station receives constant traffic and
is a local meeting spot. The store sells food & drinks, gifts,
antiques, Hilt memorabilia and more, and carries our soaps,
including our gift-boxed soap sets.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, the Stateline
Store has closed, as of the end of July, 2011. (It is in the
process of becoming All-Star Liquors, with no more grill (the
great Hilt burgers and Pilot Rock burgers will live on in
our memories, however, for a long time to come) and no more
wonderful milk shakes; and the store will be limited to just
a few incidental items now.) We thank the proprietors, Steve
and Penny Meads, for their many years of support for our soap
products, and wish them well in their new business ventures.
- Weed Chiropractic Clinic
136 Main Street, P.O. Box 538, Weed, Calif., 96094
Ph. (530) 938-3045
Chiropractors Scott Durbin and Neva Barnett retail our soap
bars in their front office, and stock a regular supply. They
are also very recommendable in their chiropractic work, and
give great adjustments.
In Washington state:
-
The
Mazama Country Inn - Gift
Shop
15 Country Road
Mazama, WA 98833
Ph: (509) 996-2681 or Toll free: 800-843-7951
Located in the scenic Methow Valley in the north-central part
of Washington state.
Curiously and coincidentally, one of the Inn owners tells
us that "Mazama ... means goat in Spanish - the story
is that long ago, some folks wanted to name our area of the
Methow Valley after a goat, and they thought that Mazama was
“goat” in Greek - but they made a mistake. And
the name stuck anyway!" Also coincidentally, and without
knowing the above, we named one of our buck goats (a pure
Toggenberg) "Mt. Mazama," after the original volcanic
mountain of the same name, before it blew up and imploded,
forming its present-day geologic state, known now as Crater
Lake.
The Mazama Country Inn is an 18-room resort and has a small
gift shop featuring items produced in the Pacific Northwest.
We are very pleased to have our soaps included amongst the
offerings there. You can learn more about the Inn online at
www.mazamacountryinn.com.
